About Me

Hi, my name is keyara Johnson and I’m a 17 year old senior at Bob jones. I’m an aspiring fashion designer as of today I’ve only done graphic design. My goals is to make a name for myself by pursuing my dreams of starting my own alternative clothing line. My hobbies have always been very on the artistic side with reading and writing poetry, designing, then listening as well as making music. My motivation has always been wanting to give someone else that I lacked, as an African American woman there was little representation in the Goth/Alternative community. I want that to change, I want other upcoming African Americans and other people in general to find that representation that I yearned for as a young child. My inspiration is my family, my father always taught me to be myself regardless of what society wants me to be, my grandather had his own business and my mother is starting her own business. Their hard work and their dedication had always inspired me to do and be my best. Everyday I’m bettering myself because I’m not perfect and I never will be but I am me and there is always room for improvement.
